GRADING: Their will be one comprehensive exam. Daily class participation and attendance are reflecting in the grade. COURSE ID: 204-001, course will meet in Room 203 TCNW. INSTRUCTOR: Dr. Larry P. Elliott, Office 205-E, TCNW, Office hours posted, Phone: 745-6002, e-mail Larry.Elliott@wku.edu PREREQUISITES: Biology 120-121 or consent of instructor SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS: Students are expected to participate in class discussion; attend each presentation given by professor and visiting technologists, and prepare a notebook covering all aspects of the course and facilities visited; and to take a final examination. TEXTBOOK: None COURSE OBJECTIVE: To introduce students to the profession of clinical laboratory science, also known as medical technology. Attention will also be given to other professionals who work as a team to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. |
