Research Interests:
Neuroanatomical mapping of the circadian system, also,
behavior of birds.
Current Projects:
Mapping GABAergic neurons in the cockroach using immunocytochemistry
in brain sections from cockroaches. GABAergic neurons are
involved in the circadian system of this model organism,
analagous to humans.
Studies on the impact of Brown-headed Cowbird parasitism on the
reproductive success of neotropical migrants that nest in Mammoth
Cave National Park are being planned.
