Specialty — Ecophysiology of reptiles and amphibians, with emphasis on their thermal ecophysiology. Herpetology.

Research Interests:

Ecophysiology of reptiles and amphibians, with emphasis on their thermal ecophysiology. Ecophysiology of ectotherms, thermoregulatory activities, thermoregulatory cycles, thermoregulatory precision, regulation mechanisms, and thermal and energetic models. Philopatry and orientation in reptiles and amphibians. Sound communication and species similarities. Morphological adaptations and differences between sexes.

Computers and UNIX. Statistics and modelling of systems and organisms. R and LATEX.

Drawing and painting, with emphasis on scientific illustration. Photography, especially black and white photography and digital images.
