This is the home page for Dr. Ouida Meier's section of Biology 120 for Fall 1998. It will be added to frequently as the class progresses, so remember to "reload" this page and other individual pages through your browser so you see the current version.
It is intended that this page serve as a supplement to help your organization of thoughts and material for this course. You will not be tested on any new material presented here that is not presented in your text or in class, but seeing class material laid out in one place and re-presented should be helpful for test purposes as well as your own learning goals.

Be sure to take advantage of your textbook publisher's web site. Wadsworth has complete resources for each chapter, including complete Lecture Outlines, Tutorial Quizzes, Learning Objectives, Flash Cards, and additional Web Links ("Hypercontents"). You might also want to check out their "Finals Blitz" help. Here's how to get there:
1. Go to http://www.brookscole.com/biology/member/student/index.html
2. Click on "General Biology"
3. Click on the icon of your textbook (Starr and Taggart, 8th edition)
4. Click on the set of Chapter-by-Chapter resources listed
5. From the Chapter Resources page for your book, select a Chapter and a Resource, then click on Go.
